The animal kingdom is full of wonders. One day it’s a lion who saved a donkey. The next day it’s a puppy who looks adorably cute. Today, this is the story of a baby seal who left everyone speechless with his cuteness.
The seal pup was sunbathing on Horsey Beach in Norfolk. It was photographer Johan Siggesson from Zurrieq in Malta who took these cute photos of the seal waving at the camera.
“It was an amazing experience to spend time with these seals. We had horrible weather the first few days with rain, hail and wind,” the photographer said of his experience.
Blakeney Point has the largest seal colony in England, with over 3,000 seal pups born each year. And it is common to see seals sunbathing in the area due to this high seal population. In fact, seals can often be seen sunbathing in the winter months on the east coast of the UK.
In these snapshots, the seal pup is captured playing on the beach. It then lifts its lid and waves at the camera as if to say hello. It looks like the seal pup is enjoying being photographed.
Mr Siggeson said on Facebook: “Back to the pups again… It’s easy to be drawn to these beauties when working on the beach here in the UK. If you’re short of inspiration, there’s always a cute pup nearby.”
